Imagine your next event hosted in our beautiful 100 yr old historic facility! Our rates are the very lowest in town! Don’t like Irish fare? No problem. You do NOT have to have TFS provide the food. You can select the caterer of your choice! Set it up the way YOU want with a band, DJ, decorations, dancing and more! The sky is the limit at The Flying Shamrock!

An evening dedicated to beauty and sophistication? What kind of Irish pub celebrates a beauty pageant? Answer: The Flying Shamrock!!!!!! When someone as kind, beautiful and genuine as Miss Hailey Best is representing our fine city, this Irish pub celebrates with a Miss America Party!!!! Our giant screens will capture it all. Miss America drink specials that the ladies will love!!!!! Come on guys, of course we will have the Broncos game on too…join in the party…seriously. We will even make it a special beer night for you all…how about $2 bottled beer?

The Flying Shamrock has been saluting our military for a longtime with a 10% discount everyday – all day. We are now taking it one step further – EVERY Saturday is Military Appreciation Night and we are saying thank you to the troops with a 25% discount off of all (every bit) of our wonderful Irish fare! YES, this discount applies to Reserve, Active Duty and Guard! In fact, we made this discount on Saturday nights, so our out of town Reservists can take advantage of it too!

MONDAY: “Guns-n-Hoses” – 25% off all food for first responders!
TUESDAY: Ladies Night – Martini specials, $1 off all wine, $3 import pints
WEDNESDAY: “5/12 Night” - $5 domestic / $12 import pitchers

This month we continue to keep on tap seasonal favorite Sam Adams Octoberfest. We ran out so quickly last year, we stockpiled it this year. Octoberfest is becoming increasingly difficult to find in stores, but for now, we have it here!

Goldsboro's best Irish Pub will be competing in this year's Chili Challenge on October 22. Come check out the Kiltie Pies (GIRLS IN KILTS!!!!) and taste our Roadkilt Chili. Our chili will be differentiated from the others by having our Irish Bangers in the recipe. If you have been in the Pub and tried our bangers, you know how amazing they are.

The Art & Ale for September was a huge success with a great turnout for the members of the Goldsboro Area Photography Club and for out local-ish brewer Mother Earth from Kinston, NC. THIS WEEK ONLY come in and buy a collectable Mother Earth glass for $5 (Your glass to keep!) and we will fill it with your choice of Mother Earth beer for as long as it lasts.

Hurricane Irene can blow, but that doesn’t have to suck! Come to The Flying Shamrock for a blow (yes, blow) out hurricane party on Friday, 26 Aug w/ live music by Idle Threat, drink specials and crazy good time!

We have been cleaning and painting and painting and cleaning and cleaning and…well you get the point…and now we are ready for our “annual” Grand Re-Opening!!!!! Wayne put a fresh coat of polyurethane on the bar so, stop by, grab a cold beer and see how great it looks! We were only closed a week, but we really missed you all. Can’t wait to see you all again on Friday night!!!!! Remember we have your favorite Irish fare every night and bottled beer too!!!!!

Thank you Goldsboro for all of you support and patronage for the past four years…it’s been a good run. And we are cleaning this week and making it even better for another four!!!!! We will reopen, looking better than ever on Friday July 8th and we hope you can join us for our big reopening. Seriously, thank you Goldsboro --- you rock!
