Support your local artist and sample some new crafts with brewery reps, brew masters or distributors on hand to enhance your tasting experience. The Flying Shamrock is proud to announce their hottest local event - ART & ALE. The first Monday of every month, you can enjoy an exclusive showing of Wayne County`s fine artists and enjoy a beer tasting from a new brewery - in fact, you can pick what our next rotating tap keg will be! Local Art, Good Friends, & Great Beer - A great way to start your week. It doesn`t get anymore local than this - Our host is Smithfield`s Double Barley Brewery with a FREE beer tasting. These folks are making craft beer the way it should be...small batch with fresh ingredients. We pair these great craft beers with super-talented artists, Larry Zicherman, Susan Palmer, & Karin Thompson. This is an Art & Ale that you do not want to miss! "Keep Goldsboro weird too".

It may be cold, snowy and icy outside but the music is even hotter in TFS this winter with two sessions of live music every Friday. From 6:30 - 8:30 listen to great acoustic artists Phil Chestnut, Bryan Berry or Jake Melnyk playing some chill sounds perfect for early evening. Then, at 9:00 - ? we turn up the volume with pure rock, blues and country shows! The Flying Shamrock is the only place to stay warm this winter.

Every Tues at The Flying Shamrock we set up regulation corn hole...inside! Yes, no reason to feel the chill or slug through snow...and no reason to stop playing corn hole in the winter. We have two full sets of corn hole boards inside every Tues and the temp is always 70 degrees. Grab some friends and play all night...you can, because it is FREE! And corn hole lovers know that nothing goes better with corn hole than beer and it just so happens we have a lot of that too. At least 50 different beers and a lot of very nice crafts to chose from. So, make Tues corn hole night all winter long.

Grab your kilt and get to The Flying Shamrock on KILT NIGHT -- Every Friday Night!!!!!! What you wear under it is completely your call. Show your Irish heritage and your Irish legs!
